Ok, so here's how the week went! (In my head. The week in my head. The actual week went pretty much normal, which is to say, 'dumb'. But the things I thought about are as follows!)
Billy, Alex- The e-mails I sent you, that you never got (am I the only one who uses my JGBmail?) (see, how I called it JGBmail? I'm so fun SO FUCKING SMART AND CLEVER HOLY CRAP CAPSLOCK SUCKS), told of my "angle" for the comic strip. I'd been having trouble coming up with a basic premise to blanket everything in. I'll just tell you guys about it next week. It sounds dumb when I type it out. I'll fill you in later. It's gonna rock you so hard!
The quest for my leather jacket returned a cryptic email from The Ex. She's possibly sending my blue coat and a journal to me, but when I asked her if she knew of the leather jacket's whereabouts (if she was keeping it, or if it'd been outsourced to another person), she mysteriously failed to answer. See, not to bag on her, 'cos I don't want to be that kind of former-whatever, but she always had a knack for not answering the important questions. I suspect, usually, because she never learned the value of just being straight with people. Even if the truth sucks, it's kind of important to hear. (I can blame almost half of my behavior post-breakup on the fact that I could never, not once, get a straight answer out of her regarding the nature of 'us'. Except, of course, that we were over. Unless you count making out. see? confusing. Everything else can be blamed on me just being an asshole. But some honesty wouldn't have hurt.) I just wanna know what happened to my jacket, I loved that jacket.
It's friday! I have a coffee table to assemble, a house to clean, some writing to do, and some games to play. There's other things, but y'know...adult stuff. You'd need to leave the room, and if you left, well then who'd read about all the sex I'm gonna have? See, a conundrum. It's better if I just don't say.
Billy's moving in soon! How radically shiny is that? Super shiny! That's how shiny! I forsee a Convergence of Awesome.
hm. I just wondered what might have happened if I'd bother to pay attention in math, gone to MIT, and formulated a theory of matter, space, and quantum-based energy mechanics and named it "The Convergence of Awesome: A Universe Theory". It could've been rad.

If anyone's even at all remotely interested, I have some fun, friendly flickr links for you! Enjoy!
Firstly, the very cool photos I promised two weeks ago. I don't think I'll ever need to run faster, or jump higher, but it's nice to know that if I wanted to, I totally could!
You may need to adjust your screen to compensate for the totally unexpected shade of green that first picture is producing. The flash brings out some ugly in things.
Next! I spent the weekend, or at least a couple of hours on saturday, setting up the game rig I promised. Complete with photo documentation (link provided directly following your completion of this paragraph)! No strenuous plugging-unplugging required! Simply command, it will obey. The older systems still required a switcher box, with a button corresponding to each of the three consoles. Moving from one system to another will require the use of one (1) "sucker" to reach forward and press the desired button. The newer systems all linked to a spiffy selector that (all by itself) routes to whatever console you have turned on. If you want Xbox, turn it on, the selector will find it and provide for you a bounty of digital goodness. Enjoy!
In other news, Billy sent me the coolest email, it's an oath that (I assume) he made up for the JGB. It's very spiffy. No, I will not share. I just wanted you to know we have an oath. And you would like it if you knew what it was.
Lastly, I just wanted to expound upon the virtues of my wife. She's way cute, and her coolness abounds. It's been one of those hellish time periods for her, and I just thought she deserved a little praise. I love her very much, she puts up with alot from me and the world.

Beautiful day! O', how your majesty doth..art...and perchance...er, I like fridays.
I wanted to give it a little brevity, but y'know, love is complicated. Such is my love for not working, because it's friday! Which I like! As I previously stated!
Today I have to go to the eye doctor to be fitted for x-ray and thermal imaging "thinking" retinas. Man that would be cool, like LaForge in First Contact. I.E.: Star Trek 8: The Last Good One. No, I'm just going for plain ol' driving glasses, 'cos my vision is "the not-hots". I'd like contacts, but since I pay for insurance that does nothing but make me want to die (really, the benefits are like fourty grand, so me dieing? A minor plus for my wife! In that tragic sort of way!), everything is coming out of pocket. Major suck.
On the brightside, or in the catagory of things that are "The hots(!)", Billy moves in soon! Related to that, but simultaniously in the catagory of "The Not-Hots(!)", I have to clean out his room before he gets here. And that means work. Also, in the very not cool vein of things, our satellite is wierd and fascist, there's a cryptic note on the fridge telling me not to turn it on. All is promised to be explained later. Twice now I've missed my morning episode of Angel. I am not feeling warm and squishy about the state of things.
But, it is the weekend, and that can only hold the promise of gumdrop memories and candy corn dreams.
Except I hate candy corn. It's wierd and not made of food.

Came down to head's up with me and the B-I-L, I was working on a flush draw, he had pocket 2's. I don't remember the order of cards but I went all-in to try and push him. Another 2 came out on the flop, but I still had hope. I was holding hearts in the pocket, with two more on the board. He was winning but if I caught my heart on the river, I could double up with a flush and maybe put him on tilt by dragging a huge pot, a few more hands and it could all go my way. The river comes and I get my heart, leaning forward to claim my prize, I take a closer look, right away something feels off. Indeed, I had made my heart....the TWO of hearts.
